Cutting boards are useful and can be beautiful works of art, and making one is a great way to learn some basic carpentry skills.

Our 5-hour workshop will teach you the basics of cutting board making from start to finish. We will teach you everything from the properties and selection aspects of wood materials, how to glue up your workpiece together in a way that will last long, what little tricks you can use to create a smoothly polished, finished, food-safe, unique product that can be part of your everyday life.
During the workshop you will get a taste of the basic operations of carpentry:
- glue up,
- using table saw,
- planing on a planer-jointer,
- edge milling,
- wood repair,
- sanding,
- finishing with food-grade oil.
The end result is a beautiful cutting board made of quality wood, unique and reflecting your taste, to take home.
The workshop is designed to be done by beginners too.

- Maximum number of participants: 10
- Course fee with English interpretation: 75.000 Ft/person (If you bring someone to interpret for you, the course fee is 50 000 Ft.)
- Duration: 5 hours
- Course tools and materials: we provide the necessary machines and tools, price of the timbers and materials (adhesives, finishes, etc.) you need to conclude our workshop is included in the course fee. You are adviced to bring a notebook and pencil or pen.
